About Zoë Marrich-Simon

Zoë Marrich-Simon is a Lead UX Researcher with over seven years of experience translating complex, technical domains into human-centered product strategy. At Cisco, she leads research across IT security, enterprise tooling, and the hybrid work experience, working as the sole research owner on AI-enabled security products that earned seven Stevie Awards. She has shaped product decisions at companies including IBM, OneTrust, Bose, and AT&T DirecTV, consistently operating in ambiguous, high-stakes spaces where user needs are easy to overlook and hard to define.

Zoë holds an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from Indiana University and brings a mixed-method fluency that spans diary studies, contextual inquiry, co-design, and large-scale quantitative research. She mentors junior researchers inside and outside of Cisco, and thinks a lot about how the field is evolving alongside the technology it studies.

Outside of work, Zoë is a devoted Detroit Lions and Indiana Hoosiers fan, which has taught her a great deal about patience, optimism, and the value of a good rebuild. She plays fantasy football with the same analytical energy she brings to research (the results are mixed). When she's not watching film or checking her lineup, she's outside on a walk, in the pool, or in the kitchen baking something that will absolutely not last the weekend.
